Recently, I wrote about Kiva.org. I am now a proud lender to 5 micro-enterprises. I want to share my loan making experiences with all. So, here is some information about my first loan.
The loan was made to Habil Aliyev who lives in Baku, Azerbaijan. He buys old cars, which fixes then sells. He has taken a loan of $500 which he will use to buy spares for a car he is working on and promises to pay back in 10 months. A total of 19 Kiva lenders contributed towards his loan.
